The government CANNOT solve the health care “problem”. The federal government has NEVER solved a single domestic problem. If you think so, I dare you to tell me what it was and how it was solved without creating more problems. The federal government and its restrictions, limits and mandates is the biggest part of the health care problems in this country. Since the Constitution of the United States does not mention “health care” the federal government has no authority to interfere in it.

Money is only one of the problems. Access is a major problem…many people are prohibited from coverage because they have chronic conditions. The fact that health care in this country is tied to one’s job is another problem. If you don’t work for a corporation or if you work part time OR if you work for a firm that doesn’t give a subsidy for health care it can be too expensive for low and moderate wage earners to afford coverage.
